The Alabama Football team held it’s second practice of fall camp today and even with limited access to the program, Tide Talk Sports is going to give you the inside scoop.

The team looks to be in incredible shape, thanks in large part to the additions of David Ballou and Dr. Matt Rhea. The updated roster was released yesterday and there was several surprises. Quarterback Mac Jones who was listed at 6’2″ 205 last season is now 6’3″ 214 and looks more physically prepared to handle an SEC schedule. Ishmael Sopsher is another guy who stood out. Last year as a true freshman he struggled with his weight and was listed at 334 pounds. Now he is a specimen at 310 pounds. Look for Sopsher to make an impact this fall.

Here are some nuggets from Day 2 of Fall Camp 2020:

-Right now the first group on the OL is made up of Leatherwood, Brown, Owens, Dickerson, and Neal

-Bryce Young is starting to show why he was so highly touted. When asked about Young, star WR DeVonta Smith simply answered, “he’s ready”.

-As we mentioned yesterday, Jahleel Billingsley has been experimenting at WR, but still expects to be at TE.

-Sophomore OLB King Mwikuta is someone to keep your eye out for.

-Ale Kaho remains the only injury, but hopes to be back relatively soon.
