Alabama football fans won’t have to wait any longer. Here we take a look at some updates from Coach Nick Saban’s press conference on Monday of game week.
Alabama football head coach Nick Saban spoke to the media at noon central time today via Zoom. We heard Saban praise the Missouri Tigers. Saban let us all know right up front that nobody is overlooking Mizzou. He says he expects them to have a good offense under Eliah Drinkwitz. Also mentioned the Tigers returning eight players on the defensive side of the ball.
Saban was asked about Mac Jones being QB1 and about his development. Coach said Jones had certainly grown as a leader and had a very good fall camp, very good last scrimmage.
Saban was asked about injuries. Coach announced only DB Ronald Williams Jr. is expected to miss the season opener against Missouri at this point in time. Looks as though Christian Barmore and King Mwikuta may be close to ready for Saturday’s contest.
Alabama football fans got their 1st glimpse at the official 2020 Crimson Tide depth chart today. Let’s take a look at who’s starting against Missouri.

A couple of things that stood out to us immediately were Will Anderson and Malachi Moore being listed as starters. Moore was my pick for 2020 Freshman MVP. I think Moore is a perfect fit for the “Star” position in the Tide’s nickel defense. Below are the starters for each position:
