Hey fans! Week two of “Talking NFL” is here, and we had a lot of great performances by some former standouts at Alabama over the years, so lets jump right into it!

Josh Jacobs- 27 Car 88 Yds

Now, I know your probably wondering why I highlighted Jacobs this week, as he only averaged 3.3 YPC. Well, it’s simple really, Jacobs showed last night that when given the ball, he will make the best of the situation, and 88 yards against any NFL team is nothing to sneeze at. Jacobs will be on this list many more times before the year is done, I assure you. The Raiders have great franchise cornerstones in Jacobs and Ruggs.

Calvin Ridley- 7 REC 109 YDS 2 TD’S

As I said last week, Atlanta is blessed to have both Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley at wideout. If you solely focus on Julio, Ridley will be the playmaker, and he showed that Sunday with an incredible performance. It’s really unfair trying to game plan for both of these guys week to week, and while Julio struggled, Ridley showed out. If only Atlanta could fix that defense.

Defensively, several Tide players had solid games in week two. Let’s take a look at a few of their stats

Trevon Diggs- 6 Solo Tackles

Landon Collins- 5 Solo Tackles 1 INT

Dalvin Tomlinson- 4 Solo Tackles 1 Assisted

Quinnen Williams- 4 Solo Tackles 3 Assisted 2 Sacks

My Offensive MVP for week two goes to Calvin Ridley in his stellar performance against the Cowboys Sunday.

My Defensive MVP is still fan favorite in many Tide fans hearts Q Williams.

I will be back with week three next Tuesday! Roll Tide!
