Last Saturday, the University of Alabama Soccer program got off to a hot start with a dominating 3-1 win over the UT Lady Vols.

Junior Riley Mattingly led the team (and SEC) with 2 goals scored and was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week for her efforts. Ridiculously, she was overlooked by the SEC as their player of the week. Junior goalkeepr McKinley Crone made 5 saves in her UA debut. Serena Pham scored the other goal in the route of UT.

This marks the first back-to-back win over the Vols since 1998 and the 8th win for Alabama in the series.

Coach Hart and his team are now looking forward to a contest in Starkville. You can find the game on SEC Network at 6pm CT this Friday!
