We are now in week three of the SEC season. We are coming off a big week two, where we saw Alabama still look dominant. Sam Pittman got a huge win, and Auburn struggled. This week there are several games that potentially have upset written all over them. Florida better watch out for A&M. Auburn better not sleep on Arkansas. That could result in an upset, but our upset of the week is Tennessee over Georgia.
Why?
Georgia’s coming off a big win against Auburn, and their defense smothered Auburn’s offense, as their average QB Bo Nix couldn’t get anything going. Georgia this week is facing a Tennessee team, that has looked very impressive the first few weeks. Jarrett Guarantono has struggled at Tennessee in the past at QB, but has played within himself this year, hasn’t made many mistakes, and has that Tennessee offense firing on all cylinders this year. Their defense is scary good this year as well.
Matchup to watch: Guarantono vs UGA’s secondary
Georgia arguably has the best secondary in the SEC, and Guarantono will need to play the best game he’s ever played as a Volunteer to pull this upset today.
Prediction: 28-24 Tennessee
Overall record: 1-1
