After three action packed weeks of SEC football, we’ve kinda seen how the SEC is shaping up again. Georgia and Florida dominate the East, while Alabama still runs the West. We’ve also seen a few upsets as well, and some teams who were billed “good” struggle out of the gate. This week’s upset pick for us at starts in less than an hour, up in Colombia. South Carolina over Auburn.

Will Muschamp has been at the helm at South Carolina for 5 years now, and the last three, only have one signature win ( upset #3 Georgia on the road) but finished 4-8 that year. There were rumblings that he needs to have a great year this year to save his job, and beating Auburn would be a great place to start. South Carolina has a good QB, good WR’s and good defense, can they contain Bo Nix for four quarters? This game is an 11am game, and Auburn historically have struggled in these early games. Another factor is Auburn has yet to find a running game, although Bigsby has shown promise in the past few games, their O-line is still struggling to gel as a unit.

AU’s running attack vs SCAR D-line.

This will be the biggest thing to watch for in this game. Will Bigsby be able to find room to run? Or will SCAR’s d-line get through several times today and cause havoc on Bigsby and Nix all game? If SCAR wants to pull this upset, they will need to get Nix a few times today, and get them off the field on 3rd down.
