So far on this SEC season, we are an even 2-2 on our upset picks, and we are looking to continue our momentum from our upset pick last week, when we predicted South Carolina to beat Auburn. Now, if you heard the podcast Stacey and Ricky put out this week, they made the comment on how I would pick Ole Miss to beat Auburn this week, and they would be correct, because there’s only one team in the state that matters, and that’s our beloved Crimson Tide. Speaking of upsets, don’t sleep on Kentucky against Missouri today, but let’s get right to our upset pick of the week.

South Carolina over LSU

Why?

Coming off a big win against Auburn last week, South Carolina now has to travel to one of the hardest places to play in the SEC, Death Valley, at night, against LSU. Now, we know LSU has struggled mightily this year, but they also play hard at home, and all those screaming Cajun’s make it hard to hear during the game. South Carolina, sitting with only two losses, has to sustain momentum this week and get a W in a hostile environment before next week’s game vs Texas A&M at home. LSU’s starting QB Myles Brennen has also been ruled out of the game, so this is the perfect opportunity for SCAR to steal a win in Death Valley tonight.

Prediction: SCAR 28-17
