2020 has been a very eventful year for many college football fans, Covid-19 spread throughout the USA like a wildfire, and caused the college football season to be in serious jeopardy. While some conferences wait till the very last second before making their decision (thank you SEC, ACC, & BIG 12) many conferences decided to either wait until later or cancel their season altogether. Now that the season has started, many teams are now having to cancel games and reschedule due to exposure or an outbreak of the pandemic. Unfortunately, Alabama was scheduled to extract revenge on LSU this weekend, but the virus spreading through Baton Rouge ruined that chance this week, which means Bama fans are having to wait another week for an Alabama game. So, I decided to make a fun article about the ratings of our players if there was an actual NCAA football game (pain). Part one will consist of the offense, part two defense, and part three kicker/punter and overall team grade. This is my personal opinion, if you agree or disagree please leave a comment and let me know. Let’s get right to it!

QB- Mac Jones 91 OVR

RB- Najee Harris 97 OVR

WR-X DeVonta Smith- 99 OVR

WR-Z John Metchie III- 89 OVR

WR-H Slade Bolden 85 OVR

*Bonus: Jaylen Waddle 98 OVR

TE- Miller “Morris” Forristall 87 OVR

LT- Alex Leatherwood 97 OVR

LG- Deonte “Cornbread” Brown- 90 OVR

C- Landon Dickerson 95 OVR

RG- Emil Ekiyor Jr 87 OVR

RT- Evan Neal 90 OVR

Other players:

Bryce Young- 83 OVR (Previous games usually rate incoming top freshman players around 80-85 OVR so 83 is a good start for Bryce).

Javon Baker- 80 OVR

Major Tennison- 76 OVR

Brian Robinson Jr.- 87 OVR

Analysis: On paper, Alabama boasts one of the most dynamic offenses in the country. In reality, it’s just that. Led by Heisman front runner Mac Jones, a deep RB core led by Najee Harris & Brian Robinson Jr, one elite WR (two before Jaylen’s injury), one soon to be elite WR in John Metchie, a solid TE presence in Forristall, and arguably the deepest offensive line in the country. This unit, so far, has been tough to stop, and I don’t see any defense in the country stopping them.

Part 2 will be available tomorrow night, and the focus will be on the defensive side of the ball, and we will finish part 3 with special teams and an overall team grade. Let me know what you think of my overall’s for each offensive player if there was an NCAA football game today (c’mon EA, give us something!).
